Passenger Ferry Operations
Implementing the first high-speed passenger ferry service employing wingships in the Pacific Northwest coastal region, Pacific Seaflight will be revolutionizing the marine transportation industry. Pacific Seaflight will be entering the marine transportation and tourism industry in Southeast Alaska as the initial market. Using fifty passenger WIG marine vessels, we will offer passenger, freight and sightseeing services between Juneau and other communities in Alaska’s Inside Passage.
The availability of economical fast transport between communities will encourage sustainable local economic development currently constrained by the transportation realities of the region. Pacific Seaflight will also be providing the summer tourism market with a highly visible and unique activity.
Pacific Seaflight will start operations in Juneau, with plans to operate two wingships for scheduled passenger service and one additional craft for dedicated tourism flightseeing service around the Juneau area.
The introduction of the 50 passenger WSH-500 allows Pacific Seaflight to begin immediate service to markets smaller wingships would not have allowed.
